Jason helped us buy our first home in DC in 2009, and we couldn't have asked for a more patient and helpful real estate agent. Although he covers the whole DC area, he knew Capitol Hill like the back of his hand - we'd see a listing, and he knew about the exact block's history, other listings he'd handled on the block, etc. Since we were first-timers, Jason walked us through every step of the process - never condescending about newbie questions, and always ready when we asked "what now?" He got a great sense of what we were looking for, was honest about our needs, and we never felt pressure from him to look faster/slower, or make an offer we were uncomfortable with. Several times, we'd e-mail him listings we're interested in on a Friday, and on Saturday morning he'd have us on-site for multiple viewings. He was great at showing us what we asked for, but also suggested other listings as a way to see the tradeoffs in the market. When we came down to the critical time of making an offer, negotiating, and closing, Jason was extremely responsive in these decision situations, even talking to us at 8 or 9pm if we needed.
